What to expect
At the event, you’ll have access to tax experts from Intuit TurboTax and Tax-Aid who will help you with your return, along with access to tax resources and software. This event is for local LA taxpayers who make $85,000 or less.
Local food trucks will provide free food. We’ll also offer a community resource fair hosted by the Foundation of California Community Colleges. The community resource fair will provide resources about housing, insurance, food insecurity, and more.
The event is family- friendly. Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before your appointment time, as there is a short walk from the parking garage to Intuit Dome. See FAQs below for additional details, including ADA and access accommodations.
Intuit Dome is located at 3930 W Century Blvd Inglewood, CA 90303, just minutes from the LAX airport. All directions are listed below. They also be found here.
Parking (free): If driving, you must park at the West Garage, Floor 2. Once on Floor 2, please proceed to the security check and registration. There will be signs, and it will be difficult to miss! After the security check and registration, you will walk across the pedestrian bridge and take the stairs, escalators, or elevator down to the Outdoor Plaza, where you’ll follow signs for the event.
- West Garage address: 10117 S Prairie Ave, Inglewood, CA 90303
- EV charging is available in the garage on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- Parking is free for all Community Tax Day guests.
Ride shares: Please get dropped off at the Prairie Gate. Once dropped off, you will go through security. Once through, you’ll follow signs for the event.
- Prairie Gate: Located on S. Prairie Ave, across from West Garage
Public transportation:
- Metro Rail: The Metro Rail K Line has a stop at the Downtown Inglewood Station, which is just a short distance from the arena. Once there, please proceed to the the Prairie Gate on S. Prairie Ave, and follow the direction noted above under “Ride-shares” for accessing the security check and registration.
- Metro buses: Several Metro bus routes serve the area surrounding Intuit Dome, including routes 115, 212, and 117. Schedules are posted on the Metro website. Please note:

- Walk-ins are not guaranteed service due to capacity limits.
Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your appointment time. This will allow enough time for you to register, walk to the event, and meet our team. It is about a 5-10 minute walk from the parking garage to Intuit Dome.
Please plan for it to take approximately 1.5—2 hours for your tax return to be completed. Each individual’s tax situation is unique to them, so time may vary. We’ll offer multiple options for filing, depending on what is best suited for your situation, including:
- Do-it-yourself (DIY) options, with tax experts available to answer questions and assist
- Filing done by an Intuit TurboTax or Tax-Aid tax expert
For both options, you will review your taxes with a tax expert. You will also have the option to print your tax documents onsite and/or open a TurboTax account.
While at the Dome, you can:
- Visit the Community Resource Fair, which will provide resources about housing, insurance, food insecurity, and more.
- Enjoy free food, provided by local food trucks and small businesses at no cost.
The event is family-friendly.
- Bring tax and identification documents: Please bring a valid government ID and all essential tax documents for filing, including:
- All W-2s and/or 1099s
- Last year’s tax return (if available)
- Bank account and routing numbers for direct deposit
- Schedule C (if applicable)
- Schedule E (if applicable)
